1. Is it really free to register and set up a Parish Media account?

There is no charge for registering with Parish Media. Once your account has be set up and activated you will have access to both the ad brokerage service and to a wealth of free editorial content.

2. Can I set the format and price for the ads in my magazine?

When you set up your Parish Media account you register details of your magazine including the price of your advertising space, issue dates and format you require.

3. Can I choose which adverts I want to run in my magazine?

You will receive an e-mail detailing all the businesses wishing to advertise in your magazine and you are able to choose which to accept or reject.

4. When and how do I receive payment?

Once you have accepted and downloaded an advert you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation showing the amount you have earned. Every month you will receive a cheque to cover all the ads you have accepted. Your online statement will be available for you to view at any time.

5. Do Parish Media offer any other services that may be of interest to me?

Advertisers

1. Is it really free to register and set up a Parish Media account?

Yes, it’s free to set up your account and search for magazines offering ad space in your local area. You are then charged a small commission on the ads you place.

2. Can I choose the magazines I want to advertise in?

Once registered, the Parish Media search facility will enable you to identify all your local magazines with information on their copy deadlines, prices and format.

3. Once I’ve chosen a title, am I guaranteed space in that magazine?

Once you’ve chosen a magazine, an e-mail is automatically sent to the editor to book your space. If there is space available the editor will accept, upload your ad and your account will be automatically updated.

4. I’m a small business and don’t have a ready prepared ad, can you create it for me?

Parish Media offers ad creation together with a range of cost effective design services.

5. Do I have to pay separately for every ad I place?

Initially advertisers will be asked to pay in advance for each ad or campaign but once their account has been operating for 3 months they can opt to move on to our automated billing service.

6. Who do I pay? What forms of payment are accepted?

For the first 3 months Parish Media will invoice you separately for each ad or campaign you book via the brokerage service. Payment is accepted by cheque or Bank Transfer to:

7. Do I have to book for a whole year or can I place a one- off ad?

It depends on the magazine you have chosen for your ad. Some magazines only take a full year’s advertising while others take monthly, quarterly or one-off ads. Information on frequency, issue date, format and cost will be available to advertisers as part of their search.
